ONCE UPON A HORSE GIRL: Heaven On Earth

ONCE UPON A HORSE GIRL: Heaven On Earth

As far back as I can remember beautiful horses have been galloping threw my dreams, filling my heart, and soul with their presence. Traveling across the desert as a young girl I imagined horses galloping along side me with the wind blowing in their main.  After my mother would tuck me in bed at night I would gaze out my window at my grandfathers herd of majestic Arabian horses in the moonlight.  It was at this very young age that I new would own my Arabian horse.

The stars aligned for me to be so blessed to grow up with my grandpa out west on his horse farm Arabian Meadows under the great Rocky Mountains in Utah.
I have countless memories with so many kind people and good horses that I learned so much from. Most of all if I share just one memory would be the love and passion my grandpa had for Arabian Horses.  The hours he spent pouring over books and catalogs studding different bloodlines was endless.  His home was full of rooms of books and art about Arabian horses that I was eager to explore.  Out in the barn he would scoop me up and put on the back of his strong black stallion and smile.  This was my Heaven on Earth.
